What I'm wearing....Phussy

So last week i was lucky enough to be sent a piece from online store 'Phussy'. Phussy knows that everyone is different and therefore specialises in rare cherry picked gems. The store is ran by the lovely Olivia and she stocks hand picked vintage items, handmade items that are custom made to order, aswell as pieces from other designers made especially for the brand and finally pieces that can be frequently bought and have a variation of sizes available. Phussy is most definitely not for basics.

I was sent a cute package with 'Phussy' logo sweets, a fun questionnaire and this gorgeous bandana frill crop top. It is a handmade item that ties around the neck/back and is backless. It's bright pink with a bandana style print. This item is handmade to order on the site and comes in a variation of colours (although pink is not currently available). It is quite summery but I like to dress for summer whenever possible and the sun was shining so i decided it was a perfect day to wear it. I teamed it with my disco pants, which I haven't worn for ages but they're a real staple piece and great as we're coming into the colder months as they're quite thick. I layered it with my new bargain longline kimono to keep the chill away. It has a gorgeous pink floral print so the pink of the banana top really compliments the print. I never miss an opportunity to wear summer shoes either so wore my patent black sliders for a casual look. I kept it simple with accessories and wore double tattoo chokers and my new Lexi sunglasses. My tassel backpack finished off the look giving it a  festival/boho vibe. The top is quite festivaly and I will definitely be taking it to Glastonbury with me next year, it's perfect for it and I can't wait to wear it with more summery pieces. Having said that I love this look and layered with a kimono or jacket it's great for coming into the autumn months too.

Here's the questionnaire that was included so I thought I'd answer it and give you a little bit more information about me.

What's your name?
Well this one you probably know but my full name is Ashton Leigh Brown.

What do you do?
I am a sales assistant at Oasis and have worked there for a year and a half. I've worked in retail since leaving school and really enjoy working with customers within a fashion retail environment. Who doesn't love staff discount (perk of the job) and I really enjoy the visual merchandising side.

Starsign?
Gemini, I'm not an astrology person but apparently Geminis like to talk, so I guess that parts true!

Tell us 3 facts about you:
1. I have a daughter called Mia who is 8, she's the sassiest little human I know and is like one of the girls. She's super funny and a diva in the making, not sure where she gets that from!
2. I am the biggest Courteeners fan and have seen them over 40 times (I've lost count). I have the frontman Liam Fray's signature tattooed on my wrist with Courteeners lyrics above it.
3. I love going for afternoon tea and am a bit of a collector of teapots and vintage teacups/saucers and have far too many for my tiny kitchen. I also have a tea trolley that I got last Christmas which I adore!!

How would you describe your style?
I chose my blog name based on my style as I love a bit of glitz (I'm sucker for sequins) and a bit of vintage glamour but I also like to add a bit of grunge (I do dress like a witch every now and again). I also love bright and wacky colours/prints and aren't afraid to stand out from the crowd. I'm a vintage lover but love mixing old with new from the highstreet.

What are your must have Phussy pieces?
I am obsessed with chunky boots at the moment and definitely need a pair of the Tim Platform boots for winter.
I also love the Medusa earrings, I love anything chunky and gold and these Versace style earrings are perfect.
I adore the auroa whora belles Trousers, I love the colours and style is so unique. They'd be perfect for Glastonbury or styled up for a night out with platforms.
