Punk & Love.... Pretty mesh & Punky pu Leather!!!

A couple of posts ago I talked about my love for the embroidery trend and today's post features another embroidered Pu leather piece I picked up in the sales. I saw this bomber jacket in Zara a few months back but it was around £60/70 and I didn't feel like I really needed it, I waited hoping it would go in the sale so I could justify the purchase. To my joy it went in the sale but it was still £40, a reasonable price but I decided to be sensible and not buy it. Then as if it was fate it went down to £20 and they still had my size! I didn't hesitate at such a bargain price and ordered it right away. It is a Pu leather body with a classic bomber type material on the sleeves, with studded detail on the shoulders, pockets and at the back. Then it has the most gorgeous embroidery on the back with 'punk & love' and swallows and hearts, it's so well made and I absolutely love it, it's nice and lightweight so can be worn all year round. It's such a statement jacket and is the perfect combo of grunge and girly, which suits my style perfectly. I added some girliness with a pink mesh dress then grunged it up with fishnets and cutout ankle boots. I wore a layered mood stone and cross necklace and a velvet choker and a velvet backpack, finished off with some mirrored sunglasses!

Nautical vibes!!!

I've always been a big fan of anything nautical, especially when it comes to fashion. I love a good vintage print with a sailor vibe and classic nautical stripes. The shirt in this outfit is the perfect print with chains, ropes and anchors and I absolutely love the bright red and turquoise in it, that matches my hair perfectly. The best part is I picked this shirt up at a preloved vintage kilo sale, so it only cost a couple of pounds. I decided to go full on nautical and team it with a navy and white striped midi skirt I got from work last summer. It was a little chilly so I wore navy tights with it and teamed it with gold boots to bring out the yellow/gold in the print of the shirt. I also added a bit more chain detail with a belt and a chunky gold necklace. Finished off with my chunky creole style earrings and a gold snakeskin effect bag. Always one to match my make up to my outfit, I went for bright blue eyeshadow and a bright red matte lip!
