Gypsy lovin & Vintage print!!!

As I've recently changed my hair colour I'm still working out what colours suit me and what colours don't anymore. It has restricted me more with what I can wear but I am finding some colours suit me better than before and some not at all. I don't really mind clashing colours so I'm trying not to let it restrict me so much and as my hair colour looks different every day it may suit me one day and not the next! One of the colours I was a little worried about is burgundy as it suited me so well when my hair was black and is one of my favourite colours.

These vintage printed culottes are some of my favourite shorts and I think (well hope) I can still pull them off. They do have a few orangey colours in the print so maybe that's why, as they kinda match my hair. I got this gorgeous gyspsy off the shoulder top from Select on sale for £5.99 and I love it, I never usually go in there but was in my local store with my mum. They had it in black too and I regret not getting it now so may have to go back and hope they still have it. This fedora is another colour I wasn't sure I'd be able to wear but I think it works well with the outfit. I teamed it with tan heels and a tan leather bag and these tortoiseshell sunnies. Finished off with my new favourite choker, this beaded beauty from Primark would you believe it! After being unsure on these colours on me now I actually love this outfit, it has a real holiday vibe about it, it's just a shame I have no holiday planned!

What I'm wearing.... Meadow florals & tan leather!!

So I was sorting through things to do a car boot at the weekend and came across this fab floral dress that I'd actually put in a bag to throw out ages ago. I'm rubbish at getting rid of things and always end up taking stuff back out, so this dress was one of those things. Greens and lilacs really suit my new hair so I thought it would probably look better on me than it did the first time round. The green with lilac floral print reminds me of meadows and the style is really cute. It's chiffon with a green cami dress underneath. I decided to bring out the purples in the print by adding purple socks for an extra pop of colour. I really like tan accessories in the summer and these tan suede/leather heels and vintage leather bag work really well with the dress. I kept it simple with a layered necklace and these fab hexagonal sunglasses and finished the look off with green lips, I love being matchy matchy!!

Maxi life!!!

So kimonos are my fave and now we're finally having a bit of summer I can wear them loads and completely ditch the jacket. I got this longline lace kimono last summer and it's one of my favourites. I love the longer length ones the most and they're great for wrapping around you if it does drop a little chilly. I wore it over this vintage style button front maxi/midi dress, it has a shorter underlay with a chiffon over layer with splits to the front. I went for witchy vibes with my black fedora, chunky buckle shoes and chokers. I accessoried with my tassel backpack and ultimate 90s sunglasses!

Mermaid Vibin!!!!

So I've been pretty useless the last couple of weeks and haven't been able to take any pictures, so I'm so happy to finally be able to do a blog post. I'm off to Glastonbury next week and I'm super excited, it's came around so quick and I don't feel one bit prepared I just hope the weather stays like it's (mostly) been! It's been very unpredicable recently but as soon as the suns out I'll dress summery, even if it rains half an hour later.

It's actually been rather nice today so I wore some of my favourite vintage trousers with a pastel blue/turquoise shell/pattern print. They're high waisted and super comfy as they're baggy and the print makes me feel all mermaidy! I teamed it with another shade of turquoise with an off the shoulder gypsy top, a Primark bargain at only £4. I wore patent sandals, my holographic backpack, my new gorgeous layered necklace and round sunnies. As I was feeling like a mermaid in all these green shades I added green lips, green eyeshadow (which you can't actually see) and a green bindi!
