What I'm wearing..... Christmas Jumper/Cardigans part two!!

So yesterday was part one of my Christmas Jumper/Cardigan feature and today it's double trouble with two festive outfits, it is Christmas Eve after all!

So my first outfit is super casual with a vintage Disney sweatshirt jumper from Pop boutique. It has Mickey and Minnie on the front and 'seasons greetings' down the sleeves with glitter in the writing. It's quite worn but still has lots of life left in it and who doesn't love Disney! I kept it simple with mom jeans and creepers and accessoried with my tattoo choker a couple or rings and my backpack.

My second outfit is a little dressier and my tackiest yet most fabulous Christmas cardigan. I got this last year from Cow Vintage and its amazing. The colours are so vibrant, it has a usa theme with the snowman holding an american flag and a flag on the Angels dress on the back.  The detailing is really nice with different textured materials and beading and I love that the scene follows onto the back. This cardigan definately does all the talking so I kept it simple with a ribbed polo neck crop top and leather look shorts. I wore fishnet tights for a touch of grunge and added my platform chelsea boots to give it a dressier look. With a layered chain and choker to finish off the look.

What I'm wearing.... Christmas Jumper/Cardigans part one!!

So I wanted to do a Christmas jumper/cardigan feature but didn't want to end up with 50 pictures in one post so I've decided to do it in 2 parts. I don't actually like Christmas that much but I do however like Christmas jumpers and cardigans, the tackier the better. I like to get one every year but unfortunately I haven't had chance to get one this year and it's a bit late now. I really had my heart set on a super tacky light up one aswell!

In this first part im wearing a Christmas cardigan I got from cow vintage a couple of years ago, they always have the best selection and at such reasonable prices and you know nobody else is going to have it. It's actually not that tacky as the colours are quite neutral and it's a really nice knit, it's definitely the least in your face out of the three im going to be featuring. It's a cream background with a Christmas tree on one side and a cat in a stocking on the other with a cute festive border on the sleeves and bottom. I teamed it with my check wool shorts and a forest green vest top which go with the colours in the cardigan perfectly. I added my burgundy fur clutch bag and Bethan's for a touch of festive red. I accessoried with a couple of chokers and a long layered chain and some rings. I really like this outfit as it's festive but subtle and actually really nice rather than just tacky like most cardigans or jumpers.

Tis the season to be..... A Pink Princess!!

There's so many feather and fluffy pieces about at the minute and I love them all. It's not very often I dress super girly and dressy but I can't resist some fluff. I'd been eyeing up the feather co-ords on missguided since I laid eyes on them. They're so cute and totally got a Cher from clueless vibe. After constantly looking at them online and stopping myself from buying one, I was finally pushed into it when missguided did 50% off co-ords on cyber Monday. I couldn't refuse that offer, I did decide to go for the black version as it was more me and a safer option but as I was browsing the site to see if I needed any other bargains it sold out whilst in my basket (gutted) so I decided to give the peachy/pink one a try, I did actually love the color just wasn't sure it would suit me.

At this point we didn't even have a Christmas party booked with work but I thought it was better to be prepared and it was too good of a deal to miss. When it came I was a little unsure and wasn't sure if the colour washed me out, but after ironing out the creases I started warming to it. One thing I did find is the top came up quite big so if you're quite small chested like me then you'd maybe be best to go down a size. A few days later work booked a chrismas meal but it was on a Sunday so I wasn't sure wether to wear it as didn't want to be too overdressed. After looking for Christmas gifts in New look i came across this fur clutch and it had gone in the sale and was the perfect shade to match the co-ord, it was fate I was meant to wear it.

I took some pictures earlier in the day so my hair and make up isn't fully done but I didn't want to lose out on light and knew I'd forget to take outfit photos on the night out. I'm no good at make up but actually made a little more effort with it for a girly look with peach and nude shades, I even painted my nails and wore girly jewellery. I put my hair in rollers for some added volume although it went flat as soon as I stepped out the door (damn weather). I don't remember the last time I dressed this girly and wore proper heels like this but it was nice for a change and I felt like the angel on top of the Christmas tree!!

I even took a couple of pictures on the night although the qualitys a little grainy, but go me for taking atleast one!! Is everybody ready for Christmas?! I'm soo not!!

What I'm wearing..... JP Style Boutique

I've been super busy lately with the lead up to Christmas and have not been able to blog as much as I'd like, it's also so hard to get good pictures with the weather being so rubbish and the dark nights. A couple of weeks ago I received a fab package from the lovely Julie Perry at JP Style Boutique. It is an online fashion boutique based in the north-East and founded by Julie. Aimed at fashion forward individuals that want to stand out and have unique products. They stock a range of ladieswear, menswear and childrenswear aswell as fashion accessories. They offer bespoke designs and hand selected designer brands and dont buy in bulk so stock is limited and therefore there is more exclusivity with their products. The boutique is edgy, urban, yet stylish, but above all unique.

I particularly like the 'Bill + Mar' and 'Rock & Religion' designs available as I really like these brands, their products are really suited to my style as they're girly but a little bit grungey. I received the 'Black Mesh cut up tshirt' by Bill + Mar and the 'Lithuania sweater' by Rock & Religion.

The sweater is a dark marl grey with a full sequin front, the sequins have two colourways, so the front show black but you can flip them over for a touch of silver. When I styled this I flipped some of the sequins to give a bit of a pattern and really liked the effect it gave. It's a really soft material and I love the looseish fit as I don't like my jumpers too fitted. It's a perfect piece for day to night as it's got the sparkle but the sweater material still keeps it casual. With this in mind I went for a day/night outfit, perfect for if you're shopping in the day then maybe going for food and drinks later on in the evening. I decided to team it with my sweater style skirt in black that ties at the waist giving a wrap around sleeve effect. I wore fishnet tights and my new suede effect chunky chelsea boots i recently received from Shoe Zone. I'd been after a pair of boots like this for a while as they have a chunky sole which I love and are a perfect height and great for day or night, they're also really comfy so great for a day/night outfit like this. I didn't want to over accessorise as the sequins on the jumper gave it some sparkle but I added a gunmetal cross ring and this fab chain detail necklace which is also a gunmetal colour and matches the jumper perfectly. It's great for going into the evening too for that extra bit of sparkle. Finally I added my tassel detail backpack I haven't used this enough and it's soo fab! I finished the look off with a shimmery blue lipstick giving it that extra bit of glitz, it is nearly Christmas afterall!! The jumper is great for this time of year, it also looks great untucked with mom jeans for a more laid back look. It's super cosy too so great for these cold days.

The 'Mesh cut up tshirt' is right up my street with its fishnet panel, I love anything mesh or fishnet as it adds a bit of grunge to an outfit. It's quite a loose oversized fit and is great for dressing up or down. I went for more of a daytime look with this, but again this would be great for a day to night look. I wore some tartan checked shorts with tie waist detail, giving a skort like effect. I tucked the top in so the detail of the shorts can be seen, the sleeves are a nice length on the top and I love the textured material. For me you can't go wrong with double fishnet so I wore fishnet tights to add a bit more grunge. Again I wore my chelsea platform boots which go perfectly, they really are my new go to shoe and instantly give a smarter and dressier feel to an outfit. I accessorised with double chokers and a cross necklace, my tassel backpack and black fur hat. The top is also really nice left untucked with disco pants or a bodycon skirt too, I tried it with some of my pvc skirts too which looked fab for a night out. I know I'm going to get loads of wear out of it as it's so me and great for any occassion.
