The Suede effect coat!!!

I have so many coats, far too many to count and every winter I say I won't buy one this year...but I always do. I was doing quite well at sticking to it this year and I still think I've kind of stuck to it as the only ones I have bought have been absolute bargains and a vital addition to my collection! So this coat is one of those bargains £6.99 from a charity shop!! I'd been after a coat like this for a while, a real suede one would've been the dream but what do you want for that price and suede effect is probably more practical for everyday life. It has fur trims around the coat and on the collar and is fur lined so it's so cosy and warm. It has a real vintage vibe which I love and as it is a neutral shade it goes with pretty much anything. For this outfit I went for a casual look with a vintage aquascutum shirt tucked into a denim button front skirt and fishnet tights. I added a touch of burgundy with a suede effect belt and my cherry red Bethans. To accessorie I went for a vintage cream bag and a small cross necklace and hoop earrings.

What I'm wearing....Tartan & Tassels!!

There are some things in my wardrobe that I never wear or have worn once, and then there are some that I wear over and over again. This classic tartan skirt is an item that I wear so much and have featured in a blog post before but there's no harm in featuring it again with a new outfit right?! I picked out the green/yellow in the tartan and teamed it with a yellow/green crochet jumper tucked in with a black lace bralet underneath and a chunky black belt. I wore black fishnets and my knee high boots and covered up with my amazing tassel leather look jacket. I absolutely love this jacket, I'd been after a new leather look jacket for a while and when I saw this I knew I had to have it. The tassels are very long so do tend to get in the way sometimes which is quite annoying, but it looks fab so I can deal with it! It's only recently got freezing cold so I've been able to get away with just a jacket quite a bit. It's also great for nights out for a cover up but still adds to the outfit with its sassy tassels. It's going to be great for festival season too! Keeping accessories simple I added a double choker and cross necklace and my tassel backpack.

Black Lace & Gold Foil!!!

I have a habit of buying things and leaving them in the wardrobe for months still with the labels on unworn. I either forget about them or just realise I probably didn't need them as much as I thought I did at the time. This outfit consists of two of those things, I got this dress and skirt in tkmaxx last year and they've just sat in my wardrobe until now. I wore the dress as a top tucked into the skirt as the top part of the dress is separate to the bottom with the lace detail, the bottom of the dress is a chiffon material. As the gold pleated skirt is quite floaty and a longer length it covers the bottom of the dress to get away with looking like a top/skirt combo. The skirt is more of a going out skirt but by teaming it with a more causal top and flat shoes I've made it more of a daytime look. I wore a coin detail headchain and a vintage bag with lace socks and dolly shoes to compete the look. Sorry that the quality of the pictures is pretty rubbish but it started to rain as I was taking them and it was rather windy too!
