Brighton Rocks part 1!!!

So last week myself, Alice and my daughter Mia went to Brighton for a few days. I'd never been before so was really looking forward to it. The weather forecast wasn't looking brill but when we arrived on the Monday it wasn't too bad, just quite windy. Our hotel was right next to the beach and was within walking distance to pretty much everything. We dropped our luggage off then had a wander around, mainly in search of food and went in a few shops. We settled at a place called 'Hen' for lunch and had fried chicken in a basket and I had the most amazing homemade pink lemonade.

We had another wander round then had a quick change at the hotel. We headed back out in the evening in search of more food. As it was getting later we struggled to find anywhere that would let children in. So after a long tiring day we decided to give up and get a kfc and head back to the hotel for a early night.

The next day was still rather windy although the sun did show its face later on. So we decided to go to the sea life centre. We spent a few hours there and saw some great sea life, I even learnt a few things along the way. We paid a little extra to go on the glass bottom boat over the water, where we could see all the creatures below and was told all about them all as we floated over. Never one to miss an opportunity for a photo booth we had a snap in the booth at the centre.

We spent a bit of time on the beach and in the arcades on the pier where we got rather addicted as we were winning lots of tickets, tickets mean prizes!!

We walked back to change ready to go out for tea in the evening. We did find we was having to plan our meals (which was very organised for us) as a lot of places didn't let children in very late. So we'd rang ahead at a place I'd found online called 'The Neighbourhood' and they said there was no time restrictions so we headed out a bit later that night. There was a deal on of Burgers for £4 that night, so it was perfect for a burger lover like me. I had beef with blue cheese and cheese and bacon fries it was fab!
