I’ve been absolutely rubbish the last couple of months and haven’t really blogged, but I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas/New year! How quick did that come and go?! You literally blink and it’s all over and I don’t know about you guys but you’re just left skint and a bit deflated in January. But I’m trying to get my motivation back in general life and for blogging. So for my first post of 2018 I’m featuring one of my fave purchases of the last couple of months. I’m a massive fan of faux fur coats (I bought 3 this winter alone, oops) and had been after a cow print one for a while. After searching for ages and not being able to afford the amazing Jakke one I loved on ASOS, I was so happy when I came across a similar one on Depop. At £20 I snapped it up right away and was so pleased when it arrived, although it’s used it’s in great condition and looks like it’s barely been worn and the fur is super soft. I love the style of the coat and the chunky collar and although it is a print with the cow print design, as it’s black and white it actually goes with so much, and looks great teamed with bright colours.
As you may have noticed from a few of my most recent posts Red is my new fave colour to wear and it looks great with monochrome. So I went for a red flippy hem red skirt with textured detail that I got from work, I love the style and its fits really nicely. It’s actually gone in the sale now too, so if you like the look of it then you can grab yourself a bargain. I teamed it with a black Bardot bodysuit and some fishnet tights. Addding another pop of red in to the mix I went for a red beret, I’m loving berets now and have ended up purchasing them in quite a few colours. I finished off the look with some black mules and my fave feather bag, accessorising with my red tassel earrings and some layered necklaces/chokers.
